The Dallas Cowboys took care of business at home for the 15th straight game. They also kept their hopes for the NFC East title and the #1 seed alive.

The Cowboys handed the visiting Eagles, 33-13,  with the defense keeping the Eagles’ offense out of the endzone.

Philadelphia’s lone touchdown came of a defensive return of a Dak Prescott fumble.

Dallas scored on all four of its first half possessions – three touchdowns and a field goal – and never trailed in the game.

The win moves Dallas to 10-3, tied for first in the NFC East with the Eagles.

The two teams are also tied with the 49ers for the best record in the NFC.

The Cowboys travel to Buffalo next week while the Eagles travel to Seattle.

The Cowboys took the opening kick and punched the Eagles right in the nose.

A 10-play drive – five runs and five passes – marched the ball 75 yards in five minutes. Prescott connected with CeeDee Lamb for a 13-yard touchdown and a 7-0 lead.

Prescott was 4-for-5 for 30 yards on the drive. KaVontae Turpin has a 22-yard run to put Dallas into Eagles territory.

The Eagles tried to respond, overcoming several penalties and a 3rd-and-16, but Donovan Wilson tackled Jalen Hurts on a quarterback draw, forcing a fumble.

Wilson recovered the ball to put the Cowboys’ offense back on the field with a 7-0 lead with 5:42 left in the quarter.

Dallas’ second drive started with a false start on Lamb, followed by a six-yard pass to Lamb and an incomplete pass to Brandin Cooks.

Prescott hit Lamb for 27 yards to get near midfield. Runs by Rico Dowdle and Tony Pollard pushed Dallas back into Eagles territory.

But Prescott’s pass to Michael Gallup on 3rd-and-2 sailed high. The Cowboys went for it on fourth down and Pollard ran for four yards and a first down.

A 17-yard run by Pollard was wiped out by a Terence Steele hold and a Prescott pass fell incomplete.

Dowdle ran for three yards and a pass interference on Darius Slay gave Dallas a first down at the Eagles’ 32.

Another hold – this one on Tyler Smith — wiped out a 15-yard run by Prescott. Prescott overthrew Ferguson on the next play.

Two more incomplete passes left Dallas with a 4th-and-20 from the Eagles’ 42.

Brandon Aubrey lined up for a 60-yard field goal and drilled it to extend his NFL record to 27 straight field goals made to start a career.

Dallas took a 10-0 lead into the second quarter.

Second Quarter

The Eagles’ second drive was a three and out. But the Eagles ran a fake punt on 4th-and-2 at their own 33 and the Cowboys were not ready for it.

With a new lease on the drive and a first down at the Cowboys’ 39, the Eagles moved to the 34 before the drive stalled again.

Jake Elliott’s 52-yard field goal attempt just slipped in between the uprights. Dallas still held a 10-3 lead with 12:34 to go.

The Cowboys’ third drive began at their own 25. After a three-yard run by Dowdle, Prescott hit Jake Ferguson over the middle for 27 yards.

Prescott hit Dowdle in the flat for a first down and Dowdle ran for nine more yards on the next play. Lamb gained 10 yards on a flipped pass in the backfield to get Dallas to the Eagles’ 16.

Pollard ran for nine yards on the next two plays for a 3rd-and-1 at the seven. Prescott got the first down on a three-yard quarterback sneak.

Pollard pushed the ball to the half-yard line on the next play. Ferguson couldn’t bring in Prescott’s pass on second down.

Dowdle’s plunge on third-down was ruled short. Mike McCarthy threw the challenge flag and the replay overruled the call.

After the 12-play, 75-yard drive, Dallas led 17-3 with 5:40 left in the half.

The Eagles responded with a solid drive, moving the ball to the Cowboys’ 18, but a sack by Micah Parsons – despite being double-teamed – and an incomplete stalled the drive.

Elliott’s 44-yard field goal cut Dallas’ lead to 17-6 with 1:48 left in the half.

A double penalty by Kelee Ringo gave Dallas a first down at the Eagles’ 35. Ringo was called for pass interference and for a facemask on Cooks.

Prescott then hit Cooks for 30 yards, nearly scoring on the play with 27 seconds remaining.

Prescott’s next pass fell incomplete. But on the next play, Prescott hit Gallup on a slant for the touchdown and a 24-6 lead at the half.

Prescott was 14-for-23 for 157 yards and two touchdowns. Pollard led Dallas’ rushing attack with 32 yards on six carries. Lamb had 65 yards on five catches and a touchdown.

Third Quarter

The Eagles received the second half kickoff and moved the ball 31 yards.

But Stephon Gilmore stripped A.J. Brown after a completion and Dallas pounced on their second fumble recovery.

Prescott threw a home run ball to Lamb, who couldn’t haul in the pass. The Cowboys had to punt the ball away for the first time in the game.

The Cowboys’ defense forced a three-and-out and this time the Eagles punted. Turpin was interfered with on the fair catch, giving Dallas the ball at their own 45.

But with a chance to put the Eagles in a really bad position, the Cowboys attempted three passes. The last play resulting in a Prescott fumble.

Eagles’ rookie Jalen Carter scooped up the loose ball and went 42 yards for a touchdown to cut Dallas’ lead to 24-13 with 10:41 left in the third.

But the drive stalled after two penalties, forcing Dallas to settle for a 59-yard field goal for Aubrey and a 27-13 lead with 4:49 remaining.

Philadelphia moved the ball to the Cowboys’ 30 and went for it on 4th-and-8.

Gilmore tackled DeVonta Smith well short of the line to gain to give the Cowboys the ball back. Dallas took a 27-13 lead into the final quarter.

Fourth Quarter

The Cowboys embarked on an 11-play drive that chewed up 5:45 off the clock.

Brandin Cooks nearly caught a touchdown – pass interference could have been called on the Eagles – so Dallas settled for a 45-yard field goal.

Trailing 30-13, the Eagles tried to mount a comeback.

But a seven-play drive died when Markquese Bell stripped Smith at Dallas recovered a third fumble at their own 12.

Dallas ran the clock down to 73 seconds remaining before Aubrey’s 50-yard field goal made it 30 straight made.
