Jaylon SmithEvaluation: The Dallas Cowboys defense looks to be pretty set at the linebacker position. With the exceptions of Justin Durant and Andrew Gachkar, just about everybody else is returning next season.

I’m sure everybody is anxiously awaiting to see Jaylon Smith make his debut for the Dallas Cowboys. It looks as if he will be 100% ready to go next year and should take over the starting middle linebacker position next to Sean Lee.

Sean Lee just finished his first complete 16 game season in his professional career and proved to the league why he is one of the best linebackers in the entire NFL.

Anthony Hitchens, Damien Wilson, and Mark Nzeocha will all likely be competing to become the starting strong side linebacker next season. It will be one of the more interesting position battles to keep an eye on.

This could be one of the deepest positions the Cowboys have and if Jaylon Smith is everything is advertised, it could give them the best linebacker duo in the entire NFL.
