The Dallas Cowboys have added yet another linebacker, a position they desperately needed to upgrade prior to the 2018 NFL Draft. After taking Leighton Vander Esch in the first round, the Cowboys have taken LB Chris Covington, from Indiana University.
Covington played with power in college and was able to have a successful season despite almost no experience at the position in 2017. Chris Covington’s ceiling isn’t high but he has the potential to become an important rotational player for Dallas.
At least, he’ll be a special teamer for Dallas.
His measurables are not very impressive, with average speed, but he’s a physical player and makes up for it with his competitiveness.
The Cowboys still hold two more draft picks today. Here at Inside The Star, we’ll continue updating you with the latest news!
