With a critical NFC East showdown coming Sunday between the Cowboys and the Eagles, there is troubling news coming out of Dallas regarding Quarterback Dak Prescott. He is currently dealing with a shoulder injury that is limiting him in practice and necessitated an MRI.
The injury is to the right shoulder; Dak’s throwing arm. It was suffered last Sunday in Dallas’ huge win over the Los Angeles Rams.

It’s only Wednesday, so hopefully this situation improves enough to not limit Dak’s performance in Sunday’s game.
Prescott has been a model of toughness since entering the NFL. He has started every game for Dallas since 2016, only exiting early during blowouts or meaningless Week 17 finales.
Even if Dak plays this week, the injury may affect Dallas’ offensive approach.
The Cowboys leaned on their run game to beat Los Angeles, with Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard each going over 100 yards. They may need a similar performance to take down Philadelphia and clinch the NFC East.
We will keep checking the status of Dak Prescott’s injury as the week continues.
