Things are happening fast with the tampering window now open and free agency set to officially begin tomorrow. The Dallas Cowboys lost their top corner Byron Jones to free agency, however, another defensive back is staying put.
According to USA Today’s Jori Epstein, veteran Safety Darian Thompson has agreed to a two-year, 2.8 million dollar deal with the Cowboys.
Thompson has been on the Cowboys roster for the last two seasons. In 2019, he registered 45 tackles (three for loss), three passes breakups, 1.5 sacks and a fumble recovery in four starts. He also had 223 snaps on special teams.
