Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper is getting a head start on his 2021 recovery. Per Cooper himself, the star wide out underwent a minor ankle scope this week, and is expected to be ready for the entirety of the team’s offseason program.
Cooper took to Instagram to announce his surgery, posting a photo of his foot in a boot with the caption “surgery was a success.”
Amari Cooper kept his injury hidden well, as he had arguably his most impressive season yet given the revolving door of quarterbacks he had to play with. Cooper once again broke 1,000 yards receiving on a career best 92 receptions in 2020.
The Cowboys receiving corps is as dynamic a unit as you’ll find in the NFL, but Amari Cooper cemented himself as the top dog last season.
I’m glad to hear that his surgery was successful, and I know all of Cowboys Nation looks forward to what he has in store for next season.
