2013 Stats: 60 Total Tackles, 8 Sacks, 2 Force Fumbles, 2 Passes Defensed

Projected Value:  4 Years, $10 Mil

Jason Worlids is an enigma. He crushed his career averages in statistical output with more opportunity. Worlids is a tackling machine that sheds blocks well and has excellent technique. He fits perfectly as a 4-3 SAM linebacker.

What makes Worlids an intriguing fit here is his non-stop motor and knack for getting to the passer. He’s not spectacular but he’s above league average as a complete linebacker who can make plays and bring swagger to a team lacking both.

It remains unseen if the Steelers will re-sign Worlids but if he’s available, the Cowboys could nab him up.

  1. Yup! Going to be hard. The League upped the CAP to $130M which will be helpful! The team has some options and will be able to add a player or two but they’ll have to be thrifty and smart! As you see, I didn’t pick up too many over-priced FA’s, I tried to keep it sensible, cheap and worthwhile.
