Clinton McDonald has good size at 6-2, 297 lbs. and has experience playing in a 4-3 scheme coming from Seattle. He was cut by the Seahawks initially and came back to play a key role.
Opportunity could knock for McDonald, who might be the biggest free agent sleeper amongst defensive linemen. He has a strong motor and propensity for getting up-field. He is the prototypical “rush-man” and can play either the 1- or 3-technique.

Yup! Going to be hard. The League upped the CAP to $130M which will be helpful! The team has some options and will be able to add a player or two but they’ll have to be thrifty and smart! As you see, I didn’t pick up too many over-priced FA’s, I tried to keep it sensible, cheap and worthwhile.
I would look at Michael Bennett, or Michael Johnson if Ware is cut.
