The Cowboys are also 2-0 in Week 8 games that follow a Week 7 bye. Sunday’s game against the Rams follows a bye last week.

Early Dominance
Dallas lost their first-ever Week 8 game at Green Bay in 1960. They wouldn’t lost another Week 8 game until 1970.
The would win four in a row between 1971-1974 before winning six straight between 1976-1981.
The Cowboys have had three Week 8 losing streaks over the years.
They lost three in a row from 1988-1990 and again from 2001-2003. They lost six straight between 2010-2015.
Other than those three streaks, Dallas has never lost consecutive Week 8 games.
One other streak of note: Dallas hosted nine consecutive Week 8 games between 1978 and 1987. The Cowboys went 8-1 during that run.

See You In Los Angeles
The Cowboys have played the Raiders twice in Week 8. But both contests were played when the Raiders called Los Angeles home.
Dallas lost to the Raiders, 40-38, at home in Week 8 in 1983.
They avenged the loss nine years later at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum with a 28-13 win.
Against The Other L.A. Team
The Cowboys have never faced the Rams in a Week 8 contest.
