Cowboys retire Tom Brady after a 23-year career

The deed is done… has officially retired for the second time in his career.

In early 2022 around this time, the NFL world was surprised to wake up hearing that Tom Brady would retire. This would give him more time with his family and other activities that Brady couldn't enjoy during his 22-year career.

What a joy it is to sit down and spend quality time with your family after years of hard work… NOPE, not to Brady.

Instead, Tom Brady came out of retirement in record fashion to play another year with the . This was quite surprising as everyone had already assumed he was hanging up the helmet.

This action by Brady sparked a major conflict in his life. His spouse Gisele Bündchen filed for divorce after hearing the news and now split custody of her children with Brady.

But enough about that drama, everyone knows by now that Tom Brady chose a pigskin over his own flesh and blood children.

Something that isn't talked about enough is how the were the ones to put this monster to rest.

After a 31-14 victory over Tampa Bay in this year's match-up, Tom Brady was faced with his first loss to the Dallas Cowboys in his entire career.

Before this game, Tom Brady was 7-0 against the Cowboys and defeated them twice in the 2021- openers. Finally, after years of sorrow, the Cowboys beat him in Tampa Bay.

This was a huge win for as many fans waited a long time to see the so-called “GOAT” crumble before them.

Another amazing stat that no one talks about is how Tom Brady also suffered his first-ever loss to the this year. Brady was originally 11-0 against them including the famous 28-3 comeback in the 2016 .

At the very end of the regular season this year Brady and the Bucs lost 17-30 in Atlanta, making the record now 11-1.

Those are two teams that had never beaten Tom Brady before, who now finally have a win under their belt.

It's amazing to think that the final game of Tom Brady's career was a terrible loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Tom Brady has to live with such pain for all eternity.

While I enjoy belittling Tom Brady a lot, there's no denying that he is one great athlete. He is also a man with a strong passion for the game. Winning is all that's ever on his mind when he's on and off the field.

This is both a blessing and a curse for Brady.

He has a mindset that allows him to win a lot and one that has brought him seven Super Bowl rings. However, with that said, he also uses this mindset outside of the stadium. This problem has recently been affecting his personal life.

I am hoping that Tom Brady will find some peace while in retirement and discover that there is much more to life than throwing a ball around on a turf.
