The Dallas Cowboys will have today off. They’ll likely be watching some of the NFL action along with the rest of us.
When they take the field at SoFi Stadium on Monday night they’ll bring along a 31-25 record in Week 6 games.
They’ve had six bye weeks fall on the sixth week of the schedule in the previous 63 seasons.
They also lost a Week 6 game due to the 1982 players strike. They’ve never faced the Chargers in a Week 6 contest.

The Cowboys are 12-16 in those games – the second straight week with losing record on the road.
They lost their Week 6 road game last year against the Eagles after beating New England on the road in 2021’s Week 6 game.
