When you’re selected with the 12th overall pick and as the third defensive player off the board in the 2021 NFL Draft, high expectations are soon to follow. With sports books creating NFL Futures for the 2021 season, we now have NFL Rookie of the Year odds to look at.

Over at the Draft Kings Sportsbook, Micah Parsons comes in with +500 odds to win the 2021 NFL Rookie of the Year Award. Coming in at number two is Jaelen Phillips of the Miami Dolphins with +700 odds.

Jaycee Horn and Patrick Surtain, two players thought to be heading Dallas’ way with the 10th overall pick in the draft, are listed at +1400 and tied for the seventh-best odds to win the annual award.

Kelvin Joseph is a long-shot to win the award. As Pro Football Focus mentions, it’s difficult for a non-front seven player to win the award. The Cowboys second-round pick has +6600 odds to win the award.

Here are the top 10 favorites to win the 2021 Defensive Rookie of the Year Award.

  • Micah Parsons, +500
  • Jaelen Phillips, +700
  • Jamin Davis, +800
  • Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, +800
