Superheroes Stealing Dez Bryant’s “Throw up the X” Signature Move?

What happens when a professional football player and two superheroes log on to twitter?

This reads like a set up for a joke, leaving everyone waiting for the punchline. But, this actually happened over the weekend on twitter between Dez Bryant, Gal Gadot a.k.a. Wonder Woman, and Ryan Reynolds a.k.a. Deadpool.

It all started when Gal Gadot called out Ryan Reynolds for throwing up the X signal:

If you’re a true Dallas Cowboys fan or just a fan of Dez Bryant’s, then you know all too well that throwing up the “X” is his go to move after making a big play or scoring a touchdown. It hasn’t been used quite as often these past few seasons, but it’s something he’s known for nonetheless.

So, it was only fitting for Dez Bryant to chime in…

I don’t want to jump to conclusions here, but it looks as if Wonder Woman or Deadpool are either big fans of Dez Bryant’s and wanted to show their appreciation, or stole his go to celebration. That’s the only two possibilities… Right? It can’t be coincidence, can it?

Of course, we all know that Dez Bryant wasn’t the first one to throw up the “X” as a professional athlete or throughout history, but he’s probably the first one that comes to mind. The funny thing is though, Wonder Woman and Deadpool aren’t the only superheroes to use this move either.

@DezBryant

In all honesty, it kind of makes the heart feel good to see Dez Bryant surrounded by superheroes also towing up the “X”, especially as a Cowboys fan.

Dez Bryant has become one of the most discussed topics this offseason, and there are quite a few fans amongst Cowboys Nation who are ready to part ways. I for one am not one of them. I believe this team is better with him on the roster than they are without him.

There is really no way of knowing what his future holds in Dallas right now, but I don’t think we’ve seen the last of #88 throwing up the “X” just yet, whether it is with the Cowboys or another team.

So, I guess there’s just one last thing to ask…

Who does the best job of throwing up the “X” Dez Bryant or the superheroes?

What do you think?
