When a team loses a game 31-10 its pretty much a given that they didn't exactly light it up in fantasy football.

If you were relying on some, or even all, of that team's players you had a bad week too.

Which is exactly what happened this week if you had any Cowboys on your fantasy roster. Their fantasy scoring was as bad as their real life scoring on Sunday.

The Cowboys will look to rebound with better numbers in a warmer Miami climate.

Fantasy owners still in the playoff mix will hope to do the same.

Offense

took top honors for Dallas this week with 16.35 points. His late touchdown with the game decided pushed him into double digits.

Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb

Lamb gained ground on Tyreek Hill (369.55) – who was out for the week – in the pursuit for the top receiver spot. Lamb is second in the position with 327.65 points.

was the only other Cowboys' player to hit double-digits, posting 12.25 for the week in a standard PPR scoring format.

Prescott's four rushes for 27 yards got him over 10 points as he failed to throw a touchdown and had one interception.

Prescott remains the third-highest scoring player, and in fantasy football with 410.65 points. He trails only Josh Allen (447.45) and Jalen Hurts (440.6).

just missed double-digits with a 9.15-point effort. Pollard slipped to 11th among NFL running backs with 207.25 points.

Christian McCaffrey leads the position by over 100 points with 389.3.

Jake Ferguson had 8.5 points to lead the tight ends. Ferguson in ninth overall for tight ends with 134.25 points behind Travis Kelce's top score of 200.85.

Defense/Special Teams

The Cowboys out up just 5.4 points on Sunday. One sack, 43 kickoff return yards and holding Buffalo to 351 total yards accounting for their scoring.

Despite the dismal effort, the unit remains the top scoring defense in fantasy football with 272.7 points.

The Ravens (265.2) and Dolphins (263.6) both closed the gap considerably in Week 15 however.

Brandon Aubrey hit a field goal and an extra point try to net four points for the week. Aubrey remains the top kicker in fantasy with 151 points.

Cleveland's Dustin Hopkins is just four points behind however.

Top Fantasy Dog

Unfortunately the Cowboys gave up the most fantasy points to a single player on Sunday.

Buffalo James Cook torched Dallas for 53.2 points to claim the highest scoring player honor in Week 15.

Coming into the week, Cook had only amassed 185.85 points for the entire season.

My FFL Week

My one team – out of three leagues – to make the playoffs had a first round bye. And boy was that ever a good thing.

If I'd been playing I'd have been a one and done.

That's why you want that division title and first round bye.

So this week I have a rematch from two weeks ago with the team I beat to win that division title. And I have a big starting lineup question to answer.

I'll go ahead and start Patrick Mahomes over Brock Purdy, only because the Ravens' pass defense is so much better than the Raiders right now.

Cowboys continue surge, remain on upward track in fantasy football 1

Derrick Henry is a must start at running back. As is A.J. Brown and D.J. Moore at receiver.

Travis Kelce (TE), Justin Tucker (PK), and the 49ers defense are locks as well.

Which leaves me a quandary at flex.

Do I risk Isaiah Pacheco not being back at 100%. Or, do I choose between two receivers – Calvin Ridley or Rashee Rice?

Right now I'm leaning Ridley but might go with Rice since they play on Monday and that buys me time to decide between Pacheco or Rice.

A win this week puts me back in the league championship game for the second-straight year. It would be a potential rematch with the team that beat me last year.

The Scribe's Penmen shall be avenged. If not now, there's always next year.

If you are still alive in the post season too, may you have a very good week!
