Week 2: Cowboys @ Redskins
The Dallas Cowboys will see yet another familiar opponent in the second week of the 2019 season when they hit the road for their first away game against the division rival Washington Redskins. The Redskins, much like the Giants, always play the Cowboys tough. These two teams each won a game to split the series last season, although it could be argued Dallas should have swept Washington.
Washington will likely have a journeyman QB starting for them, Case Keenum, in this Week 2 matchup. Unfortunately for him though, he doesn't have a lot of playmakers to get the ball to in the receiving game. That's why I believe the Redskins will lean on the running game with Adrian Peterson and second-year RB Darrius Guice, who saw his entire rookie season wiped out due to an injury. I believe this will be a close game, but the Cowboys will come out on the top in the end with the help of their upgraded defensive line.
Prediction: Cowboys, 20-17
