Week 5: Cowboys Vs. Packers
If there’s one team I hate to see the Dallas Cowboys play more than any other, it’s the Green Bay Packers. Green Bay has gotten the better of the Cowboys the last several years, unfortunately those defeats hurt even more because they were in some big games. There’s no doubt this will be a close, hard-fought game by both teams, but having home-field advantage at this point in the season could give the Cowboys the slight edge they need.
Aaron Rodgers just doesn’t seem to have the kind of offensive weapons at his disposal like he has in years past. I think the Cowboys defense can do just enough to keep Rogers at bay. Plus, maybe Randall Cobb, the former Packer, can give a little insight to some of Rogers’ tendencies. Unfortunately, anything else Cobb might’ve known about the offense can probably be thrown out the window now that Green Bay has a new head coach and playcaller in Matt LaFleur.
Prediction: Cowboys, 24-21
