To say it's been a roller coaster of a season for the Cowboys would be quite the understatement. In a year which has contained a three game winning streak, a three game losing streak, and head scratching wins and losses along the way, Dallas now sits at 7-7.
And considering their circumstances, 7-7 has never felt so good.
Dallas can go ahead and clinch the NFC East and a home playoff game with a victory on Sunday when they travel to Philadelphia to play the hated Eagles.
And coming off their best performance of this disappointing 2019 season, the Cowboys may have just found the “momentum” Dak Prescott has been looking for over the last few weeks.
Philadelphia Eagles
In comparison to the Philadelphia Eagles, the journey to 7-7 for the 2019 Cowboys has been a breeze. Philly had similarly high hopes prior to the start of the year, being a popular pick to represent the NFC East in the Super Bowl.
Instead, injuries and underperformance have plagued the Eagles all season, leading them to the same desperate spot as the Cowboys this Sunday. Still, Philly is coming off of two straight division wins, saving their season and giving themselves a chance to all but officially win the East this week.
It'll be a tall task for the injury-riddled Eagles, but you can never count them out at home against a hated rival.

If the Cowboys were playing any non-NFC East opponent this week, I'd probably pick against them. But if there's one thing Jason Garrett coached teams do extremely well, it's beat teams they are familiar with.
Dallas has already embarrassed a much healthier Eagles team once this season, and I think they pull out a close one on the road this Sunday.
