Week 12 Injury Report: Cowboys welcome return of All-Pro player

Week 12 is here, and the Dallas Cowboys are now playing for a draft position, but that does not mean players are not playing hard, because some are, but they are just to hurt, poorly coached, etc. to win football games this season.

This week Dallas will travel to Washington to take on the Commanders, a team that has been a surprise this season. Dan Quinn is doing great over there, but the Cowboys are looking to ruin his day by taking them down somehow.

They get a few bodies back, but below is how they are looking on the injury reporting heading into this Sunday’s matchup with them.

Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys have turned into a hospital bed this season. Every single week they have a new injury from someone right when they welcome a body back.

This week DaRon Bland, the former All Pro, will make his season debut, even though it is not as exciting as we all want it to be, it will still be cool to see him back on the field against his former defensive coordinator, that helped him have a historic season a year ago.

Out

S Markquese Bell (Shoulder)
TE Jake Ferguson (Concussion)

Ferg went down early in the loss last week to the Texans and still has a concussion, so maybe now this is the time Luke Schoonmaker can do something, or it will prove to be another wasted second round pick.

Jake has clearly taken the next step while he had not, and with the injury, he will have a chance to so something against Washington.

Questionable

DE Marshawn Kneeland (Knee)
G Tyler Smith (Ankle/Knee)
LB Nick Vigil (Foot)

WR Brandin Cooks (Knee)
CB Trevon Diggs (Groin/Knee)
T Chuma Edoga (Toe)

The Cowboys are likely going to be without one of their best players in Zack Martin, not a good sign.

Martin did not take part in yesterday’s work with shoulder/ankle injuries and is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game vs. Washington. The Cowboys haven’t had a player play in a game with that designation this year.

The offensive line is already bad enough. It is going to look very ugly tomorrow.

CeeDee Lamb was on the report again this week, but as you can see from the tweet below, he will play Sunday. He is not even on the injury report anymore.

Washington Commanders

The Commanders are coming into this game against Dallas with a few extra days off as they played last Thursday, and the Cowboys played on Monday.

You will see below that they are nearly at 100%, which means the Cowboys may find themselves even closer to the top stop of the draft board when this game is over.

Questionable

DE Javontae Jean-Baptiste (Ankle)
LB Nick Bellore (Ankle)
K Austin Seibert (Hip)

Both of these guys seem on track to play, which is good news for Houston, but bad news for Dallas.

OUT

CB Marshon Lattimore (Hamstring)

As you can see, Washington is going to be nearly full strength as they take on the Cowboys. Lattimore, one of the best corners that they traded for before the deadline is the only player missing in action.

All the others, as you can see from the report above, were full in practice. The Cowboys once again are getting a team that is going to be looking to drive them into the ground.

Dallas is going to have a hard time worrying about their injuries, they are on the road against Dan Quinn’s squad. They are going to be nearly at 100%.

I would love to see Trey Lance this game, but of course it probably won’t happen.
