I did a piece last week about who I think would be worth a fantasy spot on your roster next year, but this will be a bit different from that.

With that said, I wanted to give my thoughts about what all the fans could expect from certain essential players next season. Who should be better, who may decline, but what are my realistic expectations from many of the key players for the Cowboys?

I will throw some numbers out for , , , , , and .

I want to be clear that these are just purely my predictions. I will be sure to reference this post once next season comes to a close.

Dak Prescott

Prescott broke the single-season touchdown record last year with 37. I don't think he throws that many again, but I think he will have another productive year.

My end-of-the-season predictions for Prescott are 3,990 yards, 30 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions.

He will make the Pro Bowl.

CeeDee Lamb

is gone, so I believe Lamb and his numbers will skyrocket. Lamb will make an All-Pro Team and the Pro Bowl.

My end-of-the-season predictions for Lamb are 1,350 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Ezekiel Elliott

The numbers for Elliott will still be good, but I think his yards will decline, and touchdowns will rise. His yards will dip because of an increased role for Pollard.

I think Elliott finishes with 990 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Tony Pollard

Pollard can be an absolute stud if used the correct way. He should have his best year as a pro next season.

My final stat line for Pollard is 850 rushing yards, five touchdowns on the ground, and four more through the air.

Demarcus Lawrence

Lawrence will be the best pass rusher the Cowboys have this season. He will stay healthy this season and make the Pro Bowl.

Lawrence will finish with a team-high 11 sacks and 33 total tackles.

Trevon Diggs

Diggs will get tested all season long. It will be tough to top his 11 interceptions from a year ago. He will be a less aggressive next year.

I think Diggs returns to the Pro Bowl and finishes with six interceptions and 50 solo tackles.
