With the NFL season kicking off, fans and followers start to take notice of players who could be the breakout stars on the team.

The editorial staff at canadasportsbetting.ca has compiled a list of emerging Cowboys players who are not yet household names but are making their presence felt in the league with solid games and the promise of an even greater contribution.

These are names to remember for any NFL fan or anyone looking to make bets on the Cowboys, since these players could be integral contributors to their success.

For anyone who wants to know more about how such wagers are placed, the Canadian sportsbooks provide a wealth of information, especially in their “sports betting guide” sections, where player performance-based, team-based, and outcome-based strategies are discussed at length.

Here’s an instructional glance at four of our highest-graded players on the Cowboys roster who are receiving attention beyond the household names.

Micah Parsons – Linebacker

Micah Parsons has turned into one of the most explosive defensive players in the NFL. Parsons has been a force ever since he was drafted in 2021 with his blend of speed, strength, and instinct.

In the 2023 season, he still led the Cowboys’ defense with his impressive sack numbers and tackles for loss.

With his ability to rush the passer and cover, he is a double threat who is likened to elite linebackers like Von Miller in his prime.

For bettors, Parsons is a secure defensive pick with a significant impact on game outcomes.

Jalen Tolbert – Wide Receiver

Jalen Tolbert is emerging as a valued target in the Cowboys’ passing game.

Tolbert has developed his route running and receiving ability since joining the league in 2022. Being able to rack up yards after the catch and make clutch receptions is what distinguishes Tolbert from other mid-tier receivers.

Tolbert is an increasing value for fans who get to see the Cowboys play and could come into his own if the team starts to get more pass-happy.

Trevon Diggs – Cornerback

Trevon Diggs has become one of the NFL’s top playmakers in the secondary. A ball-hawking reputation precedes Diggs, who is the Cowboys’ interceptions leader and has consistently turned turnovers into game-changing plays.

His ability to read quarterbacks and be aggressive, yet intelligent, in his playmaking is reminiscent of top defensive backs across the league.

Diggs’ presence makes the Dallas defense more complete and gives bettors an elite player whose impact consistently shifts game momentum.

Jake Ferguson – Tight End

Jake Ferguson is developing into a reliable tight end for the Cowboys’ offense.

Ferguson, a player with good hands and a good blocker, is turning into a complete player.

His ability to produce in the red zone and in short-yardage situations gives the Cowboys flexibility that they value.

Young tight ends like Ferguson may fall through the cracks, but develop into important strategic cogs as teams make adjustments during the season.

It’s insight and tracking breakout players like Parsons, Hall, Tolbert, Diggs, and Ferguson that make viewing more pleasurable and offer strategic worth for bettors.

With the NFL continuing to be a fan favourite, bringing such unsung heroes to the forefront does much to appreciate the game itself as well as the nuances of sports betting.

By following these up-and-coming stars, fans can enjoy a more informed and engaging NFL season, keeping a close eye on the evolving roster of the Dallas Cowboys and how these players assist the team in reaching its objectives.

Diggs career will probably be short lived due to those serious knee injuries. He would be an adequate backup if he came back 100%.
