While the season is effectively over, there's still reason to be excited to watch week in and week out.

Young players are getting more chances than expected, different offensive linemen are getting opportunities to prove themselves and develop experience, and the entire is under constant evaluation for 2021.

Sunday's game with the 7-0 Steelers will be a tough one for these Cowboys, but here are three reasons you should still be locked in.

Trevon Diggs' Improvement

Defensively, 2020 has been a disaster for the Cowboys. But the second round rookie has shown flashes of why he was so hyped out of Alabama each week.

Admittedly, I've been wary of the Diggs hype, especially as he seems to give up at least one massive play per week. But last Sunday against the Eagles he had somewhat of a coming out party, snagging two interceptions on primetime.

Diggs has improved vastly each week as he gets comfortable in the defensive system, showing why he should be a starter in this secondary for years to come. Sit back and enjoy Diggs matching up with one of the league's best receiving corps this week.

Tyler Biadasz Grabbing Hold Of The Center Position

Another 2020 rookie, center Tyler Biadasz has been showing improvement with increased playing time as well. Veteran Joe Looney was expected to be the starting center this year, but after injury forced him out of the lineup, Biadasz has yet to relinquish the role.

Nor should he.

No he has not been perfect, but Biadasz is showing the team why he should be considered to be the starter at center going forward. He'll have a tough test this week with the Steelers' front, and we'll get to see if he and Connor Williams are up to the task on the interior.

The Stars Are Playing Like Stars

This team has been ravaged by injury, no doubt about it, but the stars who are still around have been balling out. Primarily and .

Both Lawrence and Martin were excellent last week against the Eagles, with Martin returning to his All Pro form and Lawrence living up to the contract which fans consistently complain about. Lawrence put the team on his back at times last week, and I'm excited to see what he can do this Sunday.
