7 Dallas Cowboys make NFL top 100 players of 2023

The NFL’s top 100 players list has finally been revealed.

The list is made by other players around the league voting on the top 100 players from the most recent season (2023).

The Cowboys had seven players make the list, the second most in the league behind only the San Francisco 49ers.

DeMarcus Lawrence, Zack Martin, Trevon Diggs, Dak Prescott, Tony Pollard, CeeDee Lamb, and Micah Parsons all made the list.

DeMarcus Lawrence

Lawrence was voted in at 99. Over the years, he has been one of the most consistent defensive players for the Cowboys.

He has really improved his run defense over the last couple of years.

He had six sacks a season ago, but he did enough for the players to vote him one of the best 100 players.

Zack Martin

Martin drops in at No. 68 on the list. He is low for my liking.

Martin has been one of the best offensive linemen in football since he was drafted in 2014.

The future Hall of Famer has only given up 12.5 sacks in his entire career and only seven holding penalties in nine seasons. Think about that.

He should have been much higher on this list. Let’s hope he can get something worked out and be ready for week one against the Giants.

Trevon Diggs

Trevon Diggs is the next Cowboy sliding in at No. 60. Diggs just signed a new contract to remain with Dallas for at least three years.

I love to see it.

Diggs is a ball hawk; he and Stephon Gilmore are hands down the best duo in the league.

The defense this season is going to be so much fun to watch.

Dak Prescott

He is the man his fans LOVE to hate.

On the other hand, the players don’t agree with any of you fans that think he is garbage.

Prescott was voted the 56th best player last year, and it was his WORST year as a pro!

That tells you all you need to know about him.

He will be ranked even higher next season, with the offense adding Brandin Cooks & getting Michael Gallup back 100% healthy.

Tony Pollard

The new lead back in Dallas drops in at No. 55.

Pollard had 1,007 yards and nine scores, but split time with Zeke a year ago.

Zeke is gone, and this backfield is now Pollards.

He signed the franchise tag, but looks to be recovering from his broken leg from the playoffs last year. He has shown his burst in training camp.

He has Deuce Vaughn, Malik Davis, and Rico Dowdle behind him.

CeeDee Lamb

Lamb was voted No. 34. Lamb showed a year ago that he could be a true No. 1 wideout in this league.

He led the room of Noah Brown and Dennis Houston.

The offense still scored 30 a game, but people love to hate on their own team.

This year he has a real chance to lead the league in yards, with Cooks being able to take the top off a defense.

Micah Parsons

Who else but Parsons would be the best Cowboy on this list and voted as the 9th best player in football right now.

I thought that he would be higher. Like the top 5, but it’s okay; he will win Defensive Player of the Year next season and be either one or two next voting.

He is off to a great start with his claim that he wants to be one of the greatest ever to make the Hall of Fame, but he needs to keep his focus right like he has done so well the first two seasons.

Long way to go, but you can’t start much better than he has.

This season is going to be fun.
