The Dallas Cowboys are halfway to a statement win in Washington. They lead 24-0 at halftime, led by rookie sensation Micah Parsons and a fantastic defensive effort.
Parsons already has two sacks in the game and a few other backfield disruptions. One of his sacks forced a fumble that Dorance Armstrong recovered and took to the house.
Earlier in the game, Randy Gregory tipped a ball at the line of scrimmage and then secured it for an interception. There have also been a few near picks by Anthony Brown, Trevon Diggs, and others.
Overall, Washington has just 29 yards on offense. QB Taylor Henicke has connected on just two of 12 pass attempts so far.
Dallas’ offense has done its part as well. Dak Prescott threw a TD to Amari Cooper and has 162 yards at the half. Ezekiel Elliott has looked better than in recent games, getting to 32 rushing yards on just seven carries so far.

We’ll if the tenor of the game changes after halftime. But for now, Dallas is cruising towards a major NFC East victory and reestablishing itself as a legitimate contender.
