How The Cowboys Stopped Joe Burrow

What a win for the . Another amazing upset occurred for the team as was the starter. Cooper is now a 2-0 quarterback when starting. While Cooper is the of attention this week, I'd like to look at how well our defense played instead.

The Dallas Cowboys' defense has been unstoppable. Last week in a 19-3 loss to Tampa Bay, the defense only managed to allow one touchdown from while also intercepting him and sacking him twice.

This week, the defense allowed Quarterback to only rack up 199 yards and one touchdown. Let's remember that this is the quarterback that just went to the last year. The way we managed to stop him was incredible. However, it brings up a question, how DID we stop him?

Well, to start, our was amazing. They broke up many passes and covered well. On one of the Bengals' last drives, they gave up some pretty big plays allowing the Bengals to score and tie. Other than that, solid job with our cornerbacks.

Now you may notice that the Dallas defense didn't manage to get a pick. Still, they came out as the victors. Last year there were games when they forced 1-2 turnovers yet they still lost. This game proves that sometimes all you need to win a big game is to focus on shutting down their and not go for the pick.

Another strong factor during the game that helped them win was our . They did an amazing job of putting plenty of pressure on Joe Burrow. Throughout the game, Joe was forced to make faster passes that resulted in smaller yard gains.

The Dallas Cowboys' defense is too good this year. While our still has some work to do, I think a lot of us can agree that their defense may be the best in the league.

They were very lucky. The defense still can’t cover tackle or get to the quarterback often enough. They don’t look good as a defense. They don’t ! The offense isn’t good either.

What do you mean they don’t look good as a defense or can’t get yo the Quarterback??? Six sacks and multiple pressures yesterday.. 19 points last week and 17 this week with little help from the offense! Some bonehead penalties as usual but the defense looks very good!! Played 2 high powered offenses and they pretty much shut them down

I think you were watching a different team.

They had 6 sacks last game and have only allowed 2 td in two games. What more do you want from a defense??? Lol

Didn’t get to see the game, but thought looking at the score at the halftime score, the defense must’ve been doing something right. Micha Parsons is at another level playing Outside Linebacker. Just think if Denver hadn’t tried to one up Dallas by taking Patrick Surtain they would’ve Micah Parsons. Outsmarted themselves!!! Kellen Moore’s inadequacies as an Offensive Coordinator is what’s painfully obvious. Move Kellen Moore and get a innovative OC and this offense will explode with or without Prescott.
