[tps_title]Mau’s NFL Power Rankings 25-32[/tps_title]
25. Buffalo Bills
Another team that was considerably improved. First-round draft pick DT Ed Oliver has drawn comparisons to Aaron Donald. QB Josh Allen will have a better offense around him including Cole Beasley and a strong offensive backfield.
26. Denver Broncos
The Broncos have a quality defense that should be boosted by new HC Vic Fangio. But this being their first year on Fangio’s regime and having a new QB in town won’t help. It will take a while for them to be back in the fight.
27. New York Giants
The Giants lack enough talent to be a winning team. Saquon Barkley is great, and their offensive line should be way better than in previous years, but they’re still rebuilding. They should be focused on figuring out who’ll play QB toward the second half of the season.
28. Detroit Lions
Losing Golden Tate will hurt the Detroit Lions on offense. Matt Patricia got a pass rusher in former Patriot Trey Flowers, but despite a great secondary, this team is far from being a contender. They’re still in rebuilding mode.
29. Arizona Cardinals
I’m intrigued by what Kliff Kingsbury brings to the table with his #1 pick Kyler Murray. However, they lack talent all around to compete in the NFC West. I have faith in Kingsbury’s future, though.
30. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Other than Mike Evans, there’s not a serious threat on the Buccaneers offense. The defense is not much better either. It’s time for Jameis Winston to turn around his career. So far, it hasn’t been very good. Especially off the field.
31. Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals best addition, OL Jonah Williams, will likely miss the 2019 season. You hate to see it. RB Joe Mixon is underrated and the team has WR A.J. Green after all, but I don’t expect much to be done with that OL in place. They also come into the season with last year’s worst defense.
32. Miami Dolphins
Props to the Dolphins on getting QB Josh Rosen. That was a smart move. Ryan Fitzpatrick is also on the team but I’d be shocked if he starts more than Rosen, if at all. Even still, Brian Flores’ team needs talent across the roster. They might have potential in the future, but 2019 won’t be their year.
