The two-time First Team All-Pro Micah Parsons has already accomplished so much in his first two and half seasons.
He added to that resume on Sunday.
After recording sack number 12.5 this season against the Eagles Sunday, he joined Pro Football Hall of Famer Reggie White as the only other player to have 12 or more sacks in each of their first three seasons played.
White did this in his first three seasons from 1985 to 1987. He currently sits second on the all-time sack leaderboard with 198.
The NFL did not start tracking sacks until 1982.
Parsons led the NFL with 78 quarterback pressures entering Week 14.
With four games left to play, Parsons is a sack and a half away from breaking his career high of 13.5 that he set last season.
If he stays on this pace and can avoid any major injuries, he should easily catch DeMarcus Ware who holds the top stop on the Cowboys all-time sack list with 117.
We see him get held nearly every time he rushes the passer, and it is never called.
If that didn't happen on almost every play, he would have more than those 12.5 sacks. It would also be nice if they called holding once or twice.
Parsons is a rare talent, and the decision to move him from linebacker to defensive end pretty much full-time continues to pay off.
He was even sick Sunday night during the game, but no way he was missing the chance to make a statement against the Eagles.
He had a fever of between 102 and 103 degrees.
Immediately after the game, he had to go home and try to recover.
“I took as many drugs and IVs as a man can take to possibly be able to play today,” Parsons said. “I just need to go home and rest.”

The Cowboys have gotten through the first two games of the toughest part of the schedule.
Beating both Seattle and Philly at home.
They now travel to Buffalo and Miami before returning home to finish the season.
They will need Parsons and that defense to help slow down Josh Allen and Tyreek Hill.

New York looks like a pushover game for them, but they are showing some fight for Tommy DeVito.
His only loss under center came against the Cowboys in the beat down 49-17 a few weeks ago.
This Cowboys team just has a different feel to them then years prior. They are winning games that they have lost for the last 5-10 years.
They are beating up on lesser teams, while we are seeing others like Miami loss to them.
Parsons will need to continue dominating on defense, while Dak Prescott will need to do it on offense.
