The have been very active on the defensive side of the ball in . They signed veteran Ha Ha Clinton-Dix and Gerald McCoy last week. Now, a former teammate of McCoy's is joining him in Dallas.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Cowboys have agreed to terms with Defensive Tackle Dontari Poe.

Poe was a two-time pro bowler (2013, 2014) and Second-Team All-Pro (2013) during his five-year stint with the Kansas City Chiefs. After a year in with the Atlanta Falcons in 2017, he spent the last two seasons with the Carolina Panthers.

He's played in 121 out of a possible 128 games in his career (118 starts). Not only can he be a force in a 4-3 set but he can also take snaps as a in a 3-4 scheme. Now, the Cowboys have added two very solid interior pieces on the in McCoy and Poe which they desperately needed. More details to come.
