A vast game is approaching for the Dallas Cowboys as the postseason is underway. With a very sloppy and pitiful game displayed last Sunday for the boys, what's next for this team? It's tough to answer, due to the team being so talented, yet failing at consistency and leadership.
Last week I made an article just before Sunday's game about how the Cowboys should bench their starters against the Washington Commanders. While I was mostly wanting to protect the players from getting injured, I feel like they were injured mentally after that game. A terrible performance before the playoffs is never a solid sign for a team and can cause some doubt for the team members.
The real culprit here is the coaching staff. Head Coach Mike McCarthy is to blame for this lack of security for Cowboys fans. I mean, do any of you feel safe right now?! We are about to go up against Quarterback Tom Brady with a 7-0 record against the Cowboys. After a dreadful performance against the Washington Commanders, many sports fans are once again turning to the repetitive cycle that the Cowboys have been in for the last 20 years, “An Early Exit”.
So, what's this article about? Well, it's about me explaining what's happening to the team that we love. The Dallas Cowboys have so much talent on the team, but yet they do so little with it. I see a team that can go to the Super Bowl in terms of talent, but the team is so poorly run with its coaching staff that it's dragging the team down.
I am not normally inraged or upset when it comes to these, however, I am not just gonna let the Cowboys have another loss in the playoffs. Something needs to change before Monday's game and that change is going to have to come from McCarthy.
Without some sort of “new leaf” of coaching ability, the Cowboys will face the same fate that they have had for the last 20 years. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are NOT a good team. For the first time in Tom Brady's career, he is under .500 to end the season. Tom is having a terrible year and so is his team, the real score of this game should be 42-17 and the Cowboys should easily walk away with the win, but it just can't happen with the way things are coached.
Now, this is where I turn to Quarterback Dak Prescott, a lot of pressure is going to be on this man for this game. With many fans believing what I said about the poor coaching staff, Dak will break or make this game for the Cowboys. If Dak can get into a winning mindset against Tampa and not get under Tom Brady's witchcraft, then the Cowboys can win this game.
I am nervous about this upcoming matchup. The Cowboys have lost to Tampa both this year and last. Perhaps the third time is the charm maybe? I don't know, but I do feel like they are in trouble. McCarthy, you must have this team ready and mentally stable, this will be one of the most difficult games you've ever coached, get ready.
Hello Tony! The question you asked at the start of your conversation was, Can McCarthy get this talented team under control? I say no he can’t because he’s totally incapable of doing so. He has a good Defensive Coordinator and an out of control blockhead running or better yet ruining a good collection of offensive talent. When he’s eventually FIRED he will only have himself to blame. After having the opportunity to observe him pretending to be the Cowboys head coach, we now know how he managed to hang around Green Bay for so long. Riding Aaron Rodgers coattails. McCarthy is inept and I’ll equipped to handle the Cowboys. I hate to admit this to myself but, I think the Cowboys will get embarrassed at Tampa Bay. The combination of McCarthy and Moore is absolutely lethal for the Cowboys. FIRE MCCARTHY AND MOORE after the upcoming loss to the Buccaneers.
On board with your stance 100%. I am a fan who is sick of choking in important games, Mike better have something this Monday or I am just completely done with his coaching all together.
$40 MILLION/YEAR should have instantaneously put this guy in a “winning mindset”.
Jason Garrett was supposedly the problem, GONE. Now it’s McCarthy’s turn to be the scapegoat? Who’s next Tony?
I am starting to think some of these players are looking at their “press clippings” too much. Cowboys probably have the easiest opponent moving into the PS (an under .500 team). Should be NO EXCUSES, right.
But then again, they just lost to a 3rd stringer QB, and if Brady is on his game…
Hey Vam, To answer your question, I don’t know who is next, but this pattern and repetition of failing on important games are getting on my nerve. The is NO EXCUSE why we can’t win this game on Monday. I will be watching Mike’s game plan very closely for this matchup.
