The Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Texans will battle each other tomorrow in a game that seems like it could get both teams on track or ruin their season and it is only week four.
Still, the injury report was a bit odd for most of the week, but we finally have some clarity on who and who is not going to play, etc.
With that said, let’s dive into the last report that was dropped before the game in Houston on Sunday afternoon.

Must-Win For Both?
You hate to call a week four game a must-win, but if the Texans lose and drop to 0-4, you can pretty much count the season over. Only one team in the history of football has started 0-4 and made the playoffs.
As for the Dallas Cowboys, they are 1-2, but you feel like they let that one get away last week against the Ravens, but the NFC East is horrific, and if they win this game to get to .500 at 2-2, the Eagles have to beat the Rams or the entire division will be with the same record.
Dallas traded for Joey Porter Jr the other night, and he has no injury issues, and it seems like he is going to play! That is amazing news for a secondary that is not good, but they are adding Porter to DaRon Bland and Revel, so they have their top three corners and now can let Caleb Downs be more of a playmaker instead of forcing him everywhere.
Speaking on 105.3 The Fan Friday after practice, executive vice president Stephen Jones said, “We actually think Joey Porter will get snaps.”
Nico Collins missed the last two games for the Texans but will be back this week, so adding Porter to this secondary is perfect timing. I don’t think Joey is going to play a ton, but he might be good enough in big moments to help them enough in the backend, but we will see.
I think the biggest key to this game is not only correcting the coaching issues, but I think forcing CJ to beat you is the way to go.
Load the box, create havoc, something, you can’t just give him all day, someone will get open. Nico Collins expects to be back after missing the last two games, so that is big for them, but still, make that dude be the reason they beat you.
The offense also needs to get off to a fast start to take some pressure off this defense, but for the last couple of years the Texans have had the best defense in football, and this year in two out of the three games they have not looked that way.
Still, Ryans is a guy that has given Dak Prescott trouble over the years when he was calling the defense for the 49ers, but at the end of the day, I trust the offense on the Cowboys over the Texans even with how bad their defense is.
Them not having their starting LB and green dot is also a bigger deal than most are probably thinking about, right, to be honest.
I really do think after last week, the Cowboys win this game, they just need to be better when it counts the most, and I don’t expect them to have to worry about that this week, as they should be in control late enough to not have to worry about it, but that is why they play the game, and the injury report on both sides gives them some things to think about before Sunday.
