Week 4 injury report: Cowboys get good news in the secondary

The Dallas Cowboys are back in prime time tomorrow night against a team that they cannot beat at home.

The Green Bay Packers come to AT&T Stadium, and that means Micah Parsons is returning to Dallas for the first time since being traded.

A lot of words have been said this week from both sides, but I will tell you now, the Cowboys are going to have their hands full with no CeeDee Lamb or Tyler Booker.

With that said, what does the rest of the injury report look like? Well, at least for now it looks like we could see both DaRon Bland and Trevon Diggs on the field at the same time.

Something that does not happen much.

Dallas Cowboys

Out:

  • WR CeeDee Lamb (Ankle)
  • OL Tyler Booker (Ankle)

That is it, the only two players missing in action are Lamb and Booker, two big losses, but the Cowboys get both Trevon Diggs and DaRon Bland back.

With how bad the Dallas Cowboys defense has been, they needed this. Maybe they can switch some things up and run a little less zone and just trust that the two highest paid guys on your team are paid to cover.

I am so tired of seeing dudes running wide open with nobody even close to them.

Although the Cowboys are without two key starters, the Packers report does not look good either.

Green Bay Packers

Out:

  • T Anthony Belton (Ankle)
  • OL Zack Tom (Oblique)

Doubtful:

  • G Aaron Banks (Groin)

Questionable:

  • S Javon Bullard (Concussion)

The Packers are missing two starting offensive linemen. For a team that has not been able to get to the QB, I would expect the Cowboys to attack these guys early.

Just test the backups right off the bat, Green Bay is going to want to run the ball with Josh Jacobs and you can beat them at their own game by making Jordan Love a passer.

Left tackle Rasheed Walker (quadricep), tight end Tucker Kraft (knee/elbow), defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt (knee) – were all upgraded to full participation on Friday and will play against the Cowboys.

Everyone and their mother are picking the Packers to run the Cowboys out of their own building this week, and the only way to shut them up is to prove a point.

Win this dang game and at least make them all look silly for one week. I don’t expect it to happen, but I think this game is going to be a lot close than people think.
