After an unsuccessful road trip, the Cowboys are back home Saturday night when they host the Lions.

Detroit clinched the NFC North last week, but are still playing to try and keep the 2 seed or if the 49ers slip again grab the 1.

The Cowboys still have a chance to win the if they win their last two games, and the Eagles drop one.

Philly plays the Cardinals and the Giants to end the season.

Cowboys will be introducing Jimmy Johnson into the Ring of Honor.

Maybe this is the night the magic happens, maybe after Jimmy gets put in, things change.

I am a sucker for a story like this and maybe the Cowboys won't lose another game for the rest of the season.

Can you imagine..

finally puts Johnson into the Ring of Honor, and after a two game losing streak, the don't lose again and go on to win the Super Bowl.

Wishful thinking, I know.

It's not like this team isn't talented enough.

The Cowboys are a different team at home, but the Lions are no joke.

This game will be physical.

Detroit likes the run the football, and Jahmyr Gibbs has been a stud for them.

This is one of the top teams in the NFC, and the Cowboys, yes will be at home, but can again prove they can play with the best.

STOP THE RUN

Dallas has been so bad at stopping the run this season, and aren't getting anything from either.

Pollard has ONE game over 100 yards rushing all season.

That can't happen.

As much as I want the Cowboys to roll the Lions Saturday, even if they do, it's still going to bother me that they can't win on the road.

A win Saturday against the Lions will continue to prove what we already know.

The Cowboys are the best team at HOME this season.

That's the problem, they dominate at home, and struggle for some reason on the road.

The Lions are road warriors though. They are 6-2 away from Detroit this season, so beating them will still be a great win.

Let's hope plays this week, because the left side of the looks absolutely lost without him.

It's likely this team will need to win multiple road games to reach the promise land.

Although this team is good, and better than most years, a win Saturday still wouldn't do anything for me.

I would like to see them stop the run better, do some damage on the ground themselves, and get the ball to their best player .

They go away from him way to much when he's rolling.

Cowboys will win this game at home, 36-29, but this will do nothing to prove they can win away from home.
