7 Dallas Cowboys Named to the 2024 NFL Pro Bowl Roster

On Wednesday night, the NFL announced the 2024 Pro Bowl selcetions, and seven Dallas Cowboys were on the list.

Among the seven players selected three are on offense, two on defense and two on special teams.

Dak Prescott — Quarterback

This is Dak Prescott’s 2nd Pro Bowl selection.

Prescott currently leads the NFL in touchdown passes, and has only thrown 8 interceptions.

He is having the best year of his career, and with a win Sunday against Washington the Cowboys can lock up the 2nd seed and host their first two playoff games.

CeeDee Lamb — Wide receiver

This is CeeDee Lamb’s 2nd Pro Bowl selcetion, he was an alternate in 2022 and made it last season.

Lamb currently sits at 1,651 and 10 touchdowns. He broke both the receptions and receiving yards single-season Cowboys record this season that was held by Michael Irvin for over 20 years.

Zack Martin  Offensive guard

Zack Martin makes his 9th Pro Bowl.

The only other Cowboys player from the offensive line that has more is the great Larry Allen. Martin has been a staple to this team for years.

It’s about time they get him his championship.

Micah Parsons Outside linebacker

No surprise here. Micah Parsons is on a path to greater things than the Pro Bowl.

He has been in the league for three years, and he has made the Pro Bowl every single season.

This season Parsons joined Pro Football Hall of Famer Reggie White as the only other player to have 12 or more sacks in each of their first three seasons played.

DaRon Bland — Corner

This was a no brainer with the season Bland has had since taking over for the injured Trevon Diggs.

This is the first selection for Bland, and although since he set the pick-6 record against Washington on Thanksgiving.

He may fall short in the Defensive Player of the Year voting, but he has done an awesome job of filling in for Diggs.

Brandon Aubrey — Kicker

I have never been more happy to be wrong about a Cowboys player.

Brandon Aubrey makes his first Pro Bowl during his first season.

Aubrey is a PERFECT 35-for-35, two makes shy of Mike Vanderjagt record of concusitive makes in a row.

Aubrey has made nine field goals from 50 yards or longer, and they all are down the middle.

It is crazy the season he is having, really hoping he doesn’t have any misses in him come playoff time, him being so good makes decisions a bit easier when get near the 50.

Bryan Anger — Punter

Bryan Anger as always has been awesome for the Cowboys.

No other punter in the history of the NFL has enjoyed a season as productive as Anger.

His 51.4-yard average with one game to play equals the mark that stood for 82 years as the league’s single-season record.

Pro Bowl Snubs

My honest opinion here.

DeMarcus Lawrence is having one of the best seasons of his career. His lack of Sacks this season are problem the reason he didn’t make it.

Yet, his production in the run game has never been better. Every time this defense needs to make a big play or a stop, he is always around.

Tyler Smith could have very easily made the roster also. His second full season has been really good.

I am not a fan of the new Pro Bowl games, but let’s hope the Cowboys players don’t need to worry about it because they are playing for the Super Bowl.
