Cowboys announce training camp schedule in Oxnard

We are one step closer to football, and now with minicamp now behind them, the Dallas Cowboys release their schedule for 2026 training camp in Oxnard starting in late July.

Starting July 29th, Dallas will be in Oxnard, California for the 20th year in a row.

The Cowboys released their practice and team activity schedule for next month’s training camp on Wednesday, with several sessions that will be open to the public and free of charge.

We have known the dates for a bit, but I wanted to drop the official things they will be doing now that it has finally been released. You can see by the photo of this post, but take a look.

Official from the NFL: The Dallas Cowboys will report to training camp in Oxnard, Calif. on July 28

Agenda

That begins with the first workout at 11:45 a.m. (Pacific time) on Wednesday, July 29 until the final open practice on Tuesday, Aug. 18, which will be a joint practice with the New Orleans Saints. Public entry will open two hours prior to practice.

How nice, the return of Kellen Moore. It is all fun and games this summer and nothing is on the line. People are expecting the Saints to be a little bit better this year than they were a year ago. Not sure how much I believe that. They still have major issues, but a summer joint practice won’t show us anything either.

Other key dates include Saturday, Aug. 1, which is the opening ceremony for the Cowboys Back Together Saturday. It begins at 11:15 a.m. PT.

The first padded practice is Monday, Aug. 3, and Heroes Appreciation Day is Thursday, Aug. 6.

The Cowboys will also hold a joint practice with the Rams on Tuesday, Aug. 11 in Rams Village in the Warner Center in Woodland Hills.

Following the return to Texas, the Cowboys’ final portion of their training camp will be held at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, with selected practices open to the public.

The greatest thing about this is that it has been a drama-free summer and, with George Pickens showing up to mini-camp, the team said they are ready for him to compete and continue the work with Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb.

This is nothing more than just giving you a look at what the future dates this summer are and what is on the agenda until the first week of the season against the Giants on Sunday Night Football in September.

It will be a fun summer for once not having much drama, and I am trying to make sure I am on the lookout if anything drops, because it is way to good to be true with Jerry Jones running the team still.
