Wow, it has been that long already, huh? The Dallas Cowboys in 2026 are heading into their 20th year of training camp in Oxnard, California.
As we all know, camp starts next week, but until then it continues to be slow in terms of topics and what we can write about with no drama from Jerry Jones or the front office, but I would much rather have it this way.
With that said, I wanted to drop MY personal top 20 players as the team heads into camp next week. Remember this is my list, you can agree to disagree, but no need to call me an idiot because you don’t agree.
You have things I won’t agree with either, it’s okay. I would be here all day if I talked about all 20 of them, so I will only bold three of them and then the rest will be underneath for you to look at, because if I talk about all 20, it would be a long annoying read.
CeeDee Lamb
CeeDee Lamb is my no.1 player on this roster, and honestly regardless of the year he had in 2025, it shouldn’t change for anyone.
He is a 5x Pro Bow, 1x First-Team All-Pro (2023), Despite playing in just 14 games, one of which he played only two offensive series, Lamb surpassed 1,000 receiving yards (1,077) for the fifth consecutive season.
Lamb still had the 10th-most receiving yards in the NFL. The wideout also recorded 75 or more receiving yards in eight of the 14 games he played in, including going over 100 in a single game six times.
@OThankKevin, @inthemageors and @AlecOnTheRadio say it’s a tough call between Lamb and Tyler Smith…
I think he will bounce back in 2026 and, with him and George Pickens in the same system for the second year and having a full offseason together, look for Lamb to go well over 1,500 yards, be a All-Pro player and probably catch at least eight or nine touchdowns.
Quinnen Williams
My second and third guys you can flip-flop all you want, but I would put the best defender on the team as my second-best player heading into training camp.
Quinnen Williams is a 4x Pro Bowl (2022/2023/2024/2025) 1x All-Pro (2022/ 1st Team).
Let’s be honest, he has really been the only bright spot for the Jets over the last five-plus years. He is the one player that has balled out and when the Cowboys made the trade for him he stepped right in and provided results.
Now with a full offseason and with the new-look defensive line, I fully expect him to get back to his All-Pro self. I don’t think he will have double-digit sacks, but he is going to do everything else at an extremely high level.
Dak Prescott
The third-best player, as I noted, could be switched between the two is Dak Prescott.
The quarterback is a 4x Pro Bowl, 1x All-Pro (2023; 2nd Team). Last year, he was one of the most productive guys in the league, and he had to be because the Cowboys had the worst ranked defense in football a year ago.
Prescott finished the year with a 67% completion percentage and 30 passing touchdowns to go with a 99.5 Passer Rating and an extremely impressive 70.2 QBR.
As long as he stays on the field like he did a year ago and gets a little better player from the offensive tackle spots, he will have another good year. If the defense is average, they make the playoffs and, honestly, I think they will win the NFC East. Have to see what the defense can do first, though. The cornerback unit scares me to death.
Okay, so for the rest of the players 4 through 20 it will just be listed below. These can be changed by preference, but again, this is my list.

When you get to the bottom of this list it can change, the top 12 or so can be mixed anyway and you can even drop off guys like Cobie and whomever and add maybe Malachi Lawrence or someone else, but it starts to get tricky when you get in the 15 range.
One guy that I think will be better and improve the defense more than people think is Dee Winters I am really excited about him.
