As the reigning MVP of the USFL, KaVontae Turpin is no stranger to standing out. He’s doing it again tonight with two first-half touchdowns for the Dallas Cowboys, scoring on a kickoff and punt return and securing his roster spot as we speak.
Turpin was signed just before camp to hopefully provide a spark to Dallas’ special teams. While any offensive role is still in question, KaVontae is already delivering on his primary duty.

We’ll see how much more work Turpin gets tonight as Dallas continues working through its bench in the preseason. But even if he doesn’t touch it again, KaVontae has already made this a memorable outing.
