Forbes: Cowboys Remain NFL’s Most Valuable Team

The Dallas Cowboys are called “America’s Team” for good reason. Whether it’s jersey sales, ticket sales, or just general national interest, the Dallas Cowboys seem to always be at the top.

And, per the most recent valuations, this remains true heading into the 2020 season.

According to Forbes Magazine the Cowboys are once again the NFL’s most valuable franchise, worth $5.7 billion. This is the 14th straight season the Cowboys have been at the top of the league in this category.

“America’s Team generates nearly $360 million annually from luxury suite rentals and sponsorships, more than twice as much as the No. 2 team, the Patriots, who top the league in revenue from home-game tickets and club seats, with a little over $80 million.”

Dallas isn’t only the most valuable NFL team, however, as Forbes also estimates that they are the most valuable sports franchise in the world.

The NFC East is one of the more valuable divisions as a whole, with the Giants, Eagles, and Washington all sitting in the top 10 behind the Cowboys.

Say what you will about Jerry Jones, but there’s no question he has taken the Cowboys brand to new heights since taking over the team in the late 1980’s. Let’s hope they can earn a Super Bowl win this year and generate even more interest in their brand.
