Waived Cowboys go Unclaimed, Some Headed to Practice Squad

Waiver claims from the final cutdown day have come and gone and the Cowboys didn't take any losses. None of their waived talent from yesterday were claimed by other teams, leaving Dallas free to add any of them to the .

While the Cowboys will likely bring in at least a few from other teams' cuts, most of their practice squad should be made up of players who were with them during and the .

Two of the biggest names fans may be looking for are QB and RB . Many felt they deserved to be on the but at least they will remain with the team and could still be utilized during the season.

A couple of waived receivers may join them in Brandon Smith and . Both had positive reports this summer but failed to beat out for the bottom of the WR .

RB , who shined during Dallas' preseason win over Seattle, cleared waivers and will now go to .

OL also cleared waivers and should return for another year with the Cowboys' practice squad. He doesn't count against the 16-man limit thanks to the International Player Pathway Program.
