If you’re like me, you’ve been in a Cowboys fog ever since Dak Prescott’s injury.
It’s been tough to focus on the team in the same way knowing that their leader and most important player is out for the season.
But while the fanbase mourns his injury, Prescott himself is in great spirits. Today he took to social media to address the fans for the first time since his injury, thanking everyone for the prayers and well-wishes.
“Just want everyone to know that I’m doing well and I can’t thank you enough for all your love, your support, your prayers over the last few days. They’ve been more than overwhelming.”
Prescott was The Star on Thursday, showing support for his teammates as they prepare for this week’s Monday Night battle with the Cardinals.
Dak Prescott underwent successful surgery earlier this week, and is now on a four-to-six month recovery timeline.
But as head coach Mike McCarthy put it, if anyone can challenge a timeline, this Cowboys quarterback is the one to do it.
