Dallas Cowboys news by Inside The Star

Another week, another injury report filled with a lot of names. The Dallas Cowboys take on the Panthers tomorrow, and will once again be trying to do it very short-handed.

It did not bother them much last week against the Jets, as the offense keeps humming, which should be the case this week.

But let’s dive back into how the injury report looks for both the Cowboys and the Panthers as they get set to square off tomorrow.

Dallas Cowboys

Out:

  • G Tyler Booker, Ankle

  • WR CeeDee Lamb, Ankle

  • LB Jack Sanborn, Ankle

  • RB Miles Sanders, Knee/Ankle
  • WR Kavontae Turpin, Foot

QUESTIONABLE:

  • CB DaRon Bland, Shoulder

  • CB Caelen Carson, Knee

  • OT Ajani Cornelius, Knee/Knee

  • CB Trevon Diggs, Knee

  • DE Marshawn Kneeland, Ankle

  • WR Jonathan Mingo, Knee
  • G Tyler Smith, Knee

That is a lot of names, and with the five starters already out, the hope is that both Cowboys corners will be able to play, because we know how bad this defense is already, as for Kneeland and Smith, those guys are truly a game-time decision.

Carolina Panthers

OUT:

  • CB Akayleb Evans, Hamstring

  • RB Chuba Hubbard, Calf

  • T Taylor Moton, Elbow

  • DT Turk Wharton, Toe

QUESTIONABLE

  • WR Jalen Coker, Quad

  • CB Mike Jackson, Ribs

  • TE Ja’Tavion Sanders, Ankle

  • CB Chau Smith-Wade, Chest

The Panthers have their fair share of players who will not be playing tomorrow, but the big one is their starting tackle, Taylor Moton, and Chuba Hubbard.

With Chuba out, Rico Dowdle will be the every down back and, if you haven’t heard by now he told all the Dallas Cowboys that they should ‘buckle up’ for him this week.

He had a career day last week, rushing for over 200 yards and still does not have 300 yards on the ground this season. Congratulations Rico, you had one great game. That is why they call it a career game.

I like the Cowboys in this game, and I like them by double digits.

The Panthers will do exactly what the Jets did for a quarter and a half and make people think it might be a game, but the Cowboys offense right now is the best in football.

The defense will bend, will probably give up a score early, but the Panthers don’t have the offense to stay with Dallas. The Cowboys’ offense will be to much once again like it was for the Jets.

And no this will not be a trap game. Cowboys 33, Panthers 20.
