This game will be scary to watch. The Chicago Bears have been a very unstable team this year, with a strange win against the New England Patriots, and a tough loss against the Washington Commanders, this team doesn’t know where it stands.
One major flaw for the Bears is their offense. While Quarterback Justin Field tries his best to make things happen, the Bears just don’t have any weapons for him to throw to. This usually results in low-scoring games for the Bears.
One thing the Bears do have is a good defense, this brings up my first bold prediction. This will be a very low-scoring game. with both teams ranking in the best defense and worst offense, it’s almost certain for this to end up as a defensive battle.
To start the first quarter, only a field goal will be scored. Probably by the Cowboys. I am projecting an interception from both teams in the first half. Fields and Prescott will both have under 70 yards in the first half.
One man who won’t have a bad game is Running Back Tony Pollard. With Ezekiel Elliott likely out, Tony Pollard will go berserk this Sunday and rack up 130+ yards. Even with yards like this, the game should still stay in the low-scoring category. By the end of the half, we may see a score of 9-7. The Cowboys should lead, however.
The Dallas Cowboys Kicker Brett Maher should have a perfect game, where he doesn’t miss a single kick. The kicking has been very impressive throughout the season but the best is still yet to come for the kicking squad.
As the second half starts, the Cowboys will start to pick up the pace, and so will Dak. A touchdown will be thrown and the score will become 16-7. On the next drive, the Bears will score a touchdown off of Fields running it in. The score will then be 16-14.
In the middle of the 4th, we’ll see another kick from Maher that goes through, 19-14. To finish the game, the Cowboys’ defense will hold the Bears in their final drive and walk away with a scary win.
Lots of eyes will be on the Offensive Coordinator Kellen Moore. On one hand, people will be pleased that he will have stuck to the run game, but on the other hand, fans will be upset that they haven’t been scoring as many points as they should.
While the Bears are a weak team, the Cowboys better be ready for anything. Although my prediction points to a Cowboy victory, it wouldn’t be too surprising at all if the Bears manage to pull this game off.
If you like defensive games, make sure to tune into this one for sure. This game will be a battle and could go either way, let’s just hope the Cowboys have sharpened up on offense these past few practices.
