Cowboys vs Rams: How to watch, listen, and more

Cowboys look to hold on to slim all-time lead vs Rams 2
Rams QB Matthew Stafford under pressure by the Cowboys defense in a game on 10/9/2022.

The Cowboys fresh off their bye week will host the Los Angeles Rams and their superstar duo at wide receiver.

The Rams record might not show it, but the Rams have possibly the best duo at the wide out spot in Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua.

We all know how great Kupp is, but the potential rookie of the year, Nacua, is having one of the best seasons from the wideout position we have seen in years.

He has 58 catches for 752 yards and two touchdowns.

Dan Quinn and this defense need a good game plan to slow him and Kupp down.

The pass rush will be able to get home against Matt Stafford, but the question is, can the secondary hold up enough?

The Cowboys have a real solid chance to keep pace with the NFC even with a loss to the 49ers.

The Niners dropped their second straight game on Sunday and even though the Eagles won, the Cowboys play them next week.

If Dallas can handle their business at home this week, they will walk into Philly next week with a chance to take over the NFC East lead.

DEFENSE

It starts with defense. You contain Kupp and Nacua you WILL win this football game.

Matt Stafford will give you the ball at least once in this game. The pass rush should have a field day with the Rams offensive line.

Their defense had a rough game against the 49ers, but got back on track against the Chargers high scoring offense before the bye week.

A big road win for the Cowboys.

The Rams traded Cam Akers to the Minnesota Vikings prior to Week 3 and placed Kyren Williams on injured reserve last week.

Still, the unit remains middle of the pack in the NFL, ranking No. 15 with 112 rushing yards per game.

The defense will need to be ready to stop the run, but I am not as worried about it as their two headed monster outside running routes.

Offense

As for the offense, we know what we are going to get right now. They looked better last Monday night against the Chargers, but just want to see more.

They got Brandin Cooks involved, finally. Michael Gallup on the other hand, wasting that contract they gave him.

I think the Cowboys play another solid game like they did against the Chargers and pull it out.

Jerry Jones is willing to make a move to improve the Dallas Cowboys before the trade deadline, but he doesn't plan on initiating talks with other teams, he said Tuesday.https://t.co/W7IhZRcUoV

The offense will make enough plays to allow the defense to handle their business and close the game out.

Look for the Cowboys to trail once or twice in this game, but I think they will make more plays on both sides of the ball than the Rams.

Dallas will gain a victory in this game and improve to 5-2 with a HUGE game the following week at Philly.

Cowboys win this one 27-20.
