Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb Expected to Play vs Saints in Week 13

Wide Receiver CeeDee Lamb seemed to be on track to play against the Las Vegas Raiders on Thanksgiving after suffering a concussion in Week 11 against the Kansas City Chiefs. He went through meetings on Monday and didn’t have any limitations on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Lamb met with team doctors after Wednesday’s practice and he passed concussion protocol. The Dallas Cowboys took the cautious approach though and allowed him to get another week before returning to action. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Lamb is expected to play on Thursday Night Football in Week 13 against the New Orleans Saints.

The 2021 season has been a productive one for Lamb. He leads the Cowboys in targets (77), receptions (50), receiving yards (740), receiving touchdowns (6), and yards per catch (14.8). Getting Lamb back against the Saints, along with Amari Cooper who has been on the Reserve/COVID list for the last two games, is just what Quarterback Dak Prescott needs after struggling as of late.

Dallas is currently 7-4 and in first place in the NFC East. With December right around the corner, the push for the playoffs is here and the Cowboys need to get back on track after losing three of their last four games. The Cowboys’ offense getting Lamb back will certainly help their chances of turning around this recent slump.

I write dope stuff about the Dallas Cowboys and what not.
