It looks like the contractual song and dance between the Dallas Cowboys and All-Pro Ezekiel Elliott is finally coming to an end. According to Ben Rogers of 105.3 The Fan, the two sides have agreed in principle to a mega-contract extension, with a press conference scheduled for Wednesday.

The details of the anticipated deal are unknown, however, it appears all signs point to a happy ending to this saga that has dominated the NFL headlines for over a month now. Elliott’s representation has already arrived in Dallas from Cabo and the star running back is set to arrive himself in a few hours. The hope is to have Elliott in the building and on the practice field by tomorrow as preparations for the New York Giants on September 8th ramp-up. More details to come.
