Report: Former Bengals Coach Marvin Lewis to Meet With Cowboys

The search for the next head coach of the Dallas Cowboys is heating up. In addition to former Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy, the Cowboys are meeting with former Cincinnati Bengals coach Marvin Lewis on Saturday, according to ESPN’s Todd Archer.

Lewis spent 16 years at the helm in Cincinnati and made seven playoff appearances, unfortunately, he lost them all. Although his head coaching success wasn’t the greatest, he was the defensive coordinator of the Baltimore Ravens from 1996 to 2001. His 2000 defense set the record for the fewest points allowed in a 16-game season. Could we possibly be looking at a new defensive coordinator in Dallas? More details to come.
