The first 49 players on the annual NFL top 100 list voted on by current players were revealed Sunday; three Cowboys made the first wave. CeeDee Lamb (95), Tyron Smith (92), and Zack Martin (68).
Lamb made his first Pro Bowl last season, catching 79 passes for 1,102 yards. He ranked 16th in the league in receiving yards and now becomes the Cowboys WR1. His numbers and ranking on this list should only go up.
Smith is a member of the 2010s All-Decade team. His highest ranking on the top 100 list was in 2017, when he peaked at No. 18. It says a lot about the impact Smith makes on the field, as he has not played an entire season since 2015, yet players still respect how dominant he is.
Look, although voted on by their peers, there are not 67 players who do their job BETTER than Martin. I understand the players vote on the list, but someone will be ahead of him that should not be. For Martin, this is his sixth consecutive appearance on the list. He is also a former member of the 2010s All-Decade Team like Smith. He is a player that should be in the Hall of Fame when his playing career comes to a close.
These lists are awful. Zack Martin at 68? Come on man https://t.co/kgs5xBZYNz

Three additional Cowboys should round out the list as the countdown continues throughout the month. Dak Prescott, Trevon Diggs, and Micah Parsons should have a spot.
The countdown continues on NFL Network Sunday, August 21, with No. 50-31 being revealed at 3:30 p.m. CT and No. 30-21 announced starting at 10 p.m. CT. The final top 20 players on the list will be shown Sunday, August 28, during a three-hour finale beginning at 7 p.m. CT.
The list is just that; I was never a massive fan of them. Plenty of great players get left off each year; some had a better season than those on the list, but it will never change.
Martin at 68 is ludicrous. He is debatably the best player on the Cowboys. He is better than DP and TD, IMO. Love Parsons, and he is in the best player on team debate even after just one year. Hopefully he will continue his superior level of play.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Diggs doesn’t even make the list. He’s great at snagging INT’s, but QB’s aren’t afraid to throw his way because they know there’s a better chance they get a big play than him getting the INT.
Not sure if TD makes the list or not, but agree, he is vulnerable to big plays b/c, IMO, he is vulnerable to double moves. He’s a risk taking, wanting to jump routes. He is an exciting player b/c of the INT capability, but conversely, I think he gave up the most receiving yards in the league. So, it’s a double edge sword with him. He will probably make the list b/c of the INTs and his cat quickness, but it may be hard to repeat that double digit total this year, b/c QBs should know the book on him by now. That said, would love to see him get more INTs and/or cut down on the yardage, which will only help the team wins games!!!
Dak top 100 in the league? Not even top 10 QB. Never has been never will be.
Zack Martin is THE BEST GUARD IN THE LEAGUE period !!!! I wish the Cowboys had 9 or 10 more like Zack Martin!!!!!
