Would a Cowboys’ loss on Sunday actually be a good thing?

It is already Wednesday and here we are talking about the next Dallas Cowboys game against the Colts, who have pretty much sold off their entire team already.

After a loss like the Cowboys suffered on Sunday to the Arizona Cardinals, it just feels like we should be used to it by now, but yet they continue to come up with new ways to let us all down.

So here we are, the Dallas Cowboys sitting at 3-5 on the road against a team that just lost 42-7 and have traded all of their best players outside of Jonathan Taylor.

the ineptitude of the Cowboys coaching staff at every single level is hilarious

NFC East is literally right there for the taking

the defense is an embarrassment

the offense is offensive

Losing Can Be Good?

Nobody wants to hear it, and I don’t even want to talk about it, but the only way Jerry Jones is going to try and get a real coaching staff in the building is racking up embarrassing losses like they have had this year.

The loss to the Bucs and blowing the lead to the Cardinals are two games that don’t happen if you have a real coaching staff.

The reason why this team even has a slimmer of hope is because of how dysfunctional the NFC East is, and at 3-5, somehow have the second-best odds of winning it, and if they had won last week, this conversation about losing to the Colts wouldn’t even be on the mind.

The issue is, the Cowboys are probably going to beat the Colts by three scores and everyone and their mother in the front office and whatever are going to be so happy and act like everything is okay when it isn’t.

The culture of this team is not where it needs to be, and it, once again, is going to come back to the forefront if they win this game. That is why I think a loss here would actually be a good thing.

If that were to happen, any other team would make a change to the coaching staff to any other team other than the Dallas Cowboys and Jerry Jones.

Brian Schottenheimer called himself an ‘elite play caller’ yet fails to create mismatches, and the offense becomes very stagnant at times.

No pre-snap motion or creative blocking schemes. The Cowboys’ offense has turned into a predictable entity that defenses can absolutely shut down at certain points in the game, and those moments are extremely harmful.

As for the defensive side of the ball, they are the biggest joke in football. Allowing 153 rushing yards a game at 5 yards a clip.

After halftime, the Cardinals ran 39 plays for 331 yards (8.5). 10 for 160 in the run game, like how is that even acceptable?

Dallas has allowed Jalon Daniels (Week 5) and Gardner Minshew (Sunday) to go 36-48 (75%) with 4 touchdowns, and guess what? Daniel Jones is probably going to do the same thing this week with Taylor in the backfield, and even if Dallas does win this game no matter how, they have the 49ers coming to town next week, and what do you think that offense is going to do to them?

Anyway, like I noted, it would actually be a good thing if the Cowboys lost this game this week, but I say this very lightly. I do not think it is going to happen. I would take the Cowboys to beat the team that is selling their entire team, 30-21.

But again, let them lose to this Colts team and see what happens, and by that I mean nothing because the issue is Jerry won’t admit that he was wrong. Either way losing to this team would keep MAJOR pressure on Jerry Jones and right now that is what I want more than anything.
