2026 Dallas Cowboys Fantasy Football Preview

We are nearing June, and that means fantasy football talk is getting ready to take over your feed. Even for the non-participants, you have to admit all the talk about drafting and rankings gets the football juices flowing, and there’s nothing better than that.

For the Dallas Cowboys, it was a pretty electric fantasy scoring season, unless you had the team defense; side note — if you did, fantasy football might not be for you.

Anyway, Dallas’s offense was flat-out explosive last year, and they had multiple guys reap the benefits from a fantasy perspective. America’s Team had a top-6 scoring quarterback, a top-12 scoring running back, a top-5 scoring wide receiver (though not the one you may have expected before last year), and a top-5 scoring tight end.

In short, that’s pretty damn good.

Here, I’ll preview the Cowboys’ fantasy football standing this year as the drafts and overall chatter creep up.

1. CeeDee Lamb: Highest-Ranked Cowboy Seeks Return To Fantasy Glory in 2026

2025 Final Ranking: 22nd Highest-Scoring WR (PPR)

2026 Fantasy Draft Ranking: 7th Overall, 5th WR (via FantasyPros)

The Cowboys’ superstar wide receiver, CeeDee Lamb, is usually one of the league’s most dominant fantasy players.

That changed in 2025 as injuries and target-sharing with his new sidekick (more on him in a moment) kicked in. Ultimately, Lamb was just the 22nd highest-scoring WR, which is far from his standard.

Still, he’s Dallas’s highest-ranked player in 2026, as the hope for good health and a more consistent role in the still-high-powered Cowboys offense rolls this September. He’ll still be a clear-cut top-10 pick in your drafts in a few months.

Specifically, you’ll see Lamb, Lions star Amon-Ra St. Brown, and Vikings All-Pro Justin Jefferson going in that same 6-10 range.

2. George Pickens: Elite Fantasy Option in 2025 Will Be Drafted High This Year

2025 Final Ranking: 5th Highest-Scoring WR (PPR)

2026 Fantasy Draft Ranking: 17th Overall, 11th WR (via FantasyPros)

George Pickens, that previously mentioned new sidekick to Lamb, exploded far beyond any fantasy owner’s expectations in his first year in Dallas.

The usually streaky, boom-or-bust option as a Steeler turned into one of the NFL’s best performers every week; now the thing on everybody’s mind is, can he continue doing that, or will he turn into a fantasy pumpkin in his sophomore year with Dallas?

His ranking says there should be some regression, but boy, if you see him in that 16–22 range in drafts, how are you supposed to turn down that potential?

It looks like Pickens should go before fellow-NFC star Chris Olave of the Saints, but after NFC East rival Malik Nabers of the Giants.

3. Javonte Williams: Newly Extended RB’s Draft Stock Higher than Ever

2025 Final Ranking: 12th Highest-Scoring RB (PPR)

2026 Fantasy Draft Ranking: 49th Overall, 18th RB (via FantasyPros)

If you saw Javonte Williams being the 12th highest-scoring RB in fantasy coming this time last year, I’ve got a few bucks for you if you give me some lottery numbers.

In all seriousness, this guy’s NFL career was slipping away just a year ago, and his time in Dallas completely flipped that on its head. Now, he’s a newly-extended, no doubt RB1 for the Cowboys, and his fantasy value is higher than ever before.

Javonte Williams’ 3 year, $24 million extension with the #Cowboys includes a reported $16M guaranteed.

The contract is nearly identical to that of D’Andre Swift’s in Chicago (3 years, $24M, $15.3M guaranteed).

Williams held a 3 year, $22M valuation in our system this winter.

As the 49th overall fantasy player in PPR ranks, Williams is right behind guys like Breece Hall, Davante Adams, and Joe Burrow, and just ahead of Mike Evans, Jameson Williams, and Bucky Irving. He’ll be someone to consider, given the importance of the running back position in fantasy.

If you’re looking to land Williams, he’ll likely be going around the same time as the aforementioned Irving, Kyren Williams of the Rams, and the Giants’ young star, Cam Skattebo.
