A very large game is approaching for the Dallas Cowboys. The Los Angeles Rams are here to cause the Cowboys’ season havoc. One man stands at the front lines of this battle for the Cowboys. While some fans have given him their trust, others have not. That man is Quarterback Cooper Rush.
Rush will be a huge factor in this game, and while he is loved by many fans, some have not come to terms with him. This has been a huge problem because of the quarterback battle taking place between Dak Prescott and Cooper Rush.
How does this add to the game prediction? Well, Cooper will have much pressure on his shoulders due to this being his “real test.”
Cooper has and will perform great in this game due to the pressure, I mean, it seems like it’s almost illegal for this man to lose. One thing that will be stopping him is the Rams’ defense. The Rams’ D is one of the toughest out there with players like Defensive Tackle Aaron Donald and Cornerback Jalen Ramsey.
For one, the Cowboys’ offensive line isn’t going to be able to hold Aaron back this game. For that reason, we are going to be seeing a lot of quick passes from Rush. We won’t see a lot of long plays this game but instead shorter routes ran by the receivers.
Last week against the Washington Commanders, the Cowboys’ run game didn’t look too good, having Running Back Ezekiel Elliott only get 49 yards (lowest this season). The run game will look much better this time than last, resulting in over 80 yards for Elliott.
This will be the game where Rush throws his first pick. Yes, I said it, even though I am on team Rush, his time of no turnovers has come to an end. I’m predicting only one will be thrown by Rush this game.
As for the Rams’ offense, we know Quarterback Matthew Stafford isn’t having a good first couple of games. He has thrown four touchdowns and six interceptions. I’m gonna say that he will throw two interceptions this game, one caught by Cornerback Trevon Diggs.
While everyone is saying that this will be a very offensive type of game, I lean toward the fact that this will be a defensive game. These two defenses are more impressive than the offense of both teams (even though it’s usually vice versa).
Now onto the game.
The Cowboys will start with the ball and score a field goal, and after a couple of drives by both teams the halftime score will be 9-14, Rams will lead.
By this time in the game, Cooper Rush will have already thrown his interception that resulted in seven points for the Rams. He will learn from that and get past that matter in the next half.
When halftime ends the Rams will start with the ball but be unsuccessful, perhaps this is where one of Stafford’s picks comes in. The Cowboys will get their first touchdown on a passing play to Wide Receiver CeeDee Lamb. The score will then be 16-14.
The Rams will score a field goal making it 16-17 right before the start of the 4th quarter. After an unsuccessful drive by the Cowboys, the Rams will get the ball again and kick another field goal driving the score to 16-20. Darkness will form over the Cowboys’ sidelines.
Just before the end of the game, Cooper Rush will have an amazing last-minute drive resulting in a touchdown with less than a minute to spare.
The Rams will try to convert a miracle but the odds will fight back, making the final score of this intense game 23-20, Cowboys move to 4-1.
No matter what, this will be a close one. Both defenses look sharp and even the offenses look similar in ways. Can’t wait to see this game, should be a fun one.
