Cowboys NFC East Odds in 2026 Show Dallas Can Push Philadelphia

George Pickens, CeeDee Lamb, and Dak Prescott appear in a Dallas Cowboys graphic in front of AT&T Stadium, highlighting the Cowboys in the NFC East betting odds race.

I know Cowboys fans don’t want to hear this right out of the gate, but the Philadelphia Eagles are the odds-on favorite to win the NFC East, again.

Now, before anyone gets sideways, that does not mean the Cowboys are dead in the water. The latest NFC East odds show Dallas is still very much in the race, and oddsmakers clearly see the Cowboys as the biggest threat to the Eagles.

This is where things stand right now.

NFC East Champion Odds

Cowboys Odds Put Dallas in the Fight

The Cowboys are sitting at +220 to win the NFC East. That doesn’t make them the favorite and I can already hear the obnoxious Eagles fans running their mouths about it.

Let’s not act like Dallas is some long shot, just hoping to hang around until Thanksgiving. That’s not what the odds say.

At +220, the Cowboys are clearly in contender territory because they aren’t lumped in with Washington and New York. Dallas is sitting right behind the Eagles, which tells me oddsmakers still believe Dallas has enough on this roster to make a push.

And I think that feels about right.

Dak Prescott is coming off an MVP-caliber season where he threw for 4,552 yards, 30 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions, while finishing with a 99.5 passer rating. Those numbers are always going to be good enough to win the division if the rest of the team holds up.

Add in the juice we have at receiver with George Pickens putting up 93 catches, 1,429 yards, and nine touchdowns, while CeeDee Lamb still cleared 1,000 yards despite missing time. Dallas has the one-two punch that should scare folks if everybody stays healthy.

I’m not buying the idea that the Cowboys are miles behind Philadelphia.

The Eagles Are Still the Team Dallas has to Catch

I’m not going to sit here and pretend Philadelphia being favored is some kind of highway robbery. It’s not.

The Eagles earned that spot. They clinched their second straight NFC East title last season, becoming the first team to repeat as division champs since 2004, and they have the players to push for a third.

Saquon Barkley ran for 1,140 yards and seven touchdowns. Hurts had 3,224 passing yards and 25 touchdowns, averaging 7.1 yards a pass. The toss up for them is the receiving core and what happens to AJ Brown.

Philadelphia, truth be told, even if it does taste like a dirt sandwich, has been more consistent, more physical, and better in big moments.

Until the Cowboys know them off, the Eagles are the measuring stick in the NFC East.

Dallas is right there. Now they have to go take it.

Washington and New York Are Still Looking Up

Washington and the New York Giants are not completely out of the picture, but let’s call it what it is.

The Commanders are sitting at +525 and the Giants are at +550. They are being priced like teams that need several things to go right.

Could they surprise people? Sure, the NFC East is the wild west. Weird stuff happens every year in this division.

But right now, the odds show a clear top two.

Philadelphia is the favorite, Dallas is the challenger, and Washington and New York are chasing them.
