The Dallas Cowboys have drafted EDGE rusher Dorance Armstrong, from the university of Kansas, with the 116th overall pick of the 2018 NFL Draft. Armstrong in the fourth round represents a steal for Dallas, many analysts saw him as a third round player.
BREAKING: With the 116th pick in the #NFLDraft, the #Cowboys select…
DORANCE ARMSTRONG.

Although Dallas has bigger needs on defense, this is a great value pick. Armstrong didn’t test very well, but his tape is more than enough to be confident about the talent they just got. With Lawrence as the indisputable LDE, one can wonder where they’ll play the Kansas product.

In college, he played from both sides and even saw some time rushing from a stand-up position. At the very least, the Cowboys found an important rotational defensive player.
Great pick by the front office, even though some needs need to be addressed ahead.
So with Hurst and Settle still on the board, they select an edge, because we need edge so bad. Oh, that’s right! They don’t value the 1 tech – that’s how Dallas got to so many Super Bowls in the past 20 years, by not valuing the 1 tech. True, Days 1 and 2 were pretty spectacular – LVE is the greatest need, Connor, if healthy, is the steal of the draft, and Gallup is the steal of the 3rd round. But Day 3 looks woeful. Just why, Dallas? Why??
Not a terrible pick but I believe they should have went safety or 1 tech. Kyzir White went 3 picks later would have rather had him or one of the DTs
